Hi every one. I have been diagnosed with Barrett's 6 mos ago-IM. I was on 40mg esomeprazole for 6 weeks and was decreased to 20 mg/day. For the last 3 mos, I have experienced minty taste on my mouth and my lips so went back to GP who increased to 20 mg 2X/day. The minty, metal taste still there wether or not I eat. My tongue feels like it is burned all the time-is it acid or side effects of the meds. Is fundoplication the best option at tjis stage as I feel that the acid reflux has been worse since I started on medication.
