Thanks Chris, that does sound quite good news, although obviously I need to see my biopsy results.

My other question, is that a previous report said Ďapparent mucosal junction at 44 cm, from the incisors, but this one said 40cm from incisors. I Image itís hard to get the measurements dead accurate, do you think that is the case here?

Also I told her to take as many biopsies as possible and she has taken 4. Itís Prague C1M1. Whatís the normal number of biopsies to take?

Sorry to sound paranoid, but I am!

The 44cm from the incisors may now have changed due to your HH sliding back? Remember, the osesphagus is an elastic tube that will stretch relatively easily. It's more like a bicycle inner tube than a water pipe.
Measurements are always imprecise as they are adjudged by reading the markings along the outside of the endoscopy tube - and they're only every 5 cm.

Regarding biopsies. 4 is as many as you'd be likely to receive from a c1m1. The Seattle Protocl calls for 4 biopsies every 2 cm. Since yours is only 1 cm, 4 is generous. - See this link regarding biopsies.

Great, thank you for your help Chris. If I remain super slim, healthy and donít get pregnant again, do you think that my hernia may stay resided?
