hi members. well im trying to tick all the boxes to help keep my barrets in check. but the one problem im having is I just cant get a proper nights sleep with my headboard raised. i have an electric bed .ive always slept with one very flat pillow. i am sleeping on my left side. dont eat after 6pm..but unfirtunatly need to sleep as I always have on complete level and a flat,pillow

    Enough with the can't Do Stuff I fall fast asleep in Cheap Seat on Flt to CDG .Lower Bed to FLAT every week raise Bed 1in. not 6in @ one time .Soon u be able to Sleep standing Up like I did @ Job .

easier said than done. for me ive also got a bad back. and sleeping flat helps the problem. i dont have any acid reflux so thats not disturbing my sleep. so do try and keep bed elevated a little but cant do the 6 inch tilt.x thanks for yr input.

I can't remember if you've had the pH test done yet? Would be worth finding out if you actually are refluxing at night time - if not, don't worry about it!

If you want to stick with it I'd suggest small changes at a time. I could never sleep on my back but taught myself to do I could actually get to sleep on planes - took me about 6 months before it seemed natural.

My GP just referred me to the local hospital when I asked. If your GP doesn't know then speak with your specialist when you next see them at the hospital that does your endoscopies.

thanks for info Steve. as im not in any discomfort with acid reflux during night. i will wait and see,hiw things go. if i start to get symotoms will speak to GP about PH test. in the meantime will raise my headboard slightly. even 2 inches is a start .
