I've not seen any papers on PPIs affecting ligaments or
cartilage. But their after-effects can last a long time,
so my experience could be relaxant.

Nearly 2 years after stopping a 4 year bout on omeprazole,
I pulled a muscle. Then I badly damaged the cartilage
around a knee and was in agony. It took about a year to
clear. I have some osteoarthritis. I have found cod liver
oil beneficial, but you need a good amount to work:
10mL/day or even more.

Another thing to try is celadrin, which also helps.
Despite my osteoarthritis I have no problem walking even
15kM a day, so it's well under control.

I have found no relevant adverse drug interactions between PPIs and multivitamins.
I do know many people on PPIs take vitamins of some sort regularly. If in doubt, check with your pharmacist.

Perhaps these physical ailments would have happened anyway irrespective of the Omeprazole? As we age, aches and pains are more commonplace.

Whether or not this is the case, there is no excuse for not getting out there and doing some physical therapy, PPI, or no PPI.

Cycling , Running, Walking, Swimming, Dancng?

How about a course of Pilates? Tai Chi or Yoga?

Get out there!
